POSITION TITLE:   Cashier (Information and Ticket Office)   NF-0189-02 

                                    Flexible Part-Time, 0-35 hrs/week                                     

SALARY:   $10.50/hr  (INCLUDES LOCALITY PAY)

LOCATION:  MORALE WELFARE & RECREATION, Naval Ordnance Test Unit

                      MWR Community Recreation Ticket Office, Orlando, FL  (Navy Exchange)

                                                                        Additional Cut-Offs: every 7 days as needed

INTRODUCTION:

Incumbent Performs basic cashier duties including; receiving cash, and credit cards for processing transactions involving the sale of various attractions to authorized patrons, assuring proper identification is provided.  Prepares daily activity reports to report sales for the day and turns in all monies and receipts collected from daily transactions to supervisor for deposit.  Inventories tickets on hand daily and prepares reports associated with the inventory.  Performs other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have knowledge of basic cash handling procedures, be familiar with currency and negotiability requirements, and be able to operate a cash register and credit card machine.

As a condition of employment, the selectee will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer within the first 30 days of employment.

This position will also be subject to background check as a position of trust. Applicants must be willing to have a background check conducted in order to have consideration for this position.
