Basic Nutrition Class

I will be offering a basic nutrition class On Tuesday 2/10 from 0900-930 In the Greenhouse.  During this class I will go over how to set yourself up for success with nutrition to help reach your fitness or overall health goals! 

 

In this class, we will go over

-How to determine the amount of calories you need to consume

-What are macronutrients and micronutrients

-Types of foods to consider to fuel your body

-How to read a food label

-How to measure food on a food scale (hands on demo)

-How to track your food in a food tracking app

-What does BMI mean and why it’s important

-Health risks of being overweight
